How to throw up / vomit when you are too drunk

Vomiting when you are drunk and already feel sick is extremely easy. Because you are drunk and you don’t really care or feel much you should simply put you fingers down your throat and vomit. If inducing vomit with your fingers does not work you can add some extras to it.

Sit on a chair that can turn circles to make yourself dizzy, be careful though not to fall or vomit everywhere (it probably will happen anyways). If you take my situation in the above scenario, it is such a difficult condition to be in because I am stuck in the middle. I feel like puking, but I don’t throw up. It is not safe to make a habit of making yourself throw up. Frequently putting your body in such a distressful state will weaken your immune system and your body will get into the habit of vomiting.

Think of it this way. Your body fights harmful substances, and is designed to protect you. If you constantly vomit to feel better, your body will always find an easy way out. Instead of fighting against something that it can, it will force you to vomit every time; even if you don’t want to.

  • Inducing vomit to expel acidic or flammable substances such as bleach or gasoline, may lead to inflammation and more damage to your oesophagus and throat
  • If you are pregnant; to avoid loss of water and essential minerals from your body
  • Usually, Poison Control Associations (US and New Zealand) advise people against throwing up after eating something poisonous or toxic, unless their doctor tells them to. According to these associations, vomiting is not an effective method to get rid of poison from your gut, and the reasons for that are:
    • The contractions cycle that your stomach goes through when vomiting, may lead it to absorb poison at a faster pace vs expelling it out of your system
    • Expelling toxic or poisonous chemicals by throwing up may further damage the lining in your oesophagus or throat
    • The poison may harm your trachea or go in your lungs leading to more complications, and making it even more difficult for doctors to treat the condition
  • Solid substances such as coins, because them may cut you from the inside due to forcefully throwing up

What Are the Side Effects Of Throwing Up Voluntarily?

When you make yourself throw up, there are a number of side-effects that you should be prepared to face and address. It is very important that you make an educated and an informed decision when wanting to throw up due to any medical emergency.

Here is a list of side-effects of throwing up. Make sure to know what you may have to deal with.

  1. Expulsion of nutrients and electrolytes from your body
  2. Loss of water will make you feel dehydrated
