You may have installed lots of apps on your iPad but some of them may be barely used at last. And it is time for you to uninstall those useless apps and release the storage space of your iPad now. However, sometimes you may rather remove all the apps in batch while sometimes, you may prefer to just uninstall some of them selectively. Two methods below will tell you what you should do depend on your situation.
Method 1: Remove the iPad apps selectively in a traditional way
Although the useless apps take up too much space of your iPad storage and you are eager to delete them quickly and efficiently, you still need to be more careful since there are also some important apps you want to keep which may contain some of your personal data. Under this situation, I think you’d better uninstall the useless apps one by one.
Step 1: On your iPad, tap on the app you want to delete for a while and then all the icons of the apps will wiggle and the little cross icons appear. Then, just click the cross icon and then choose “Delete” in the appeared dialog to confirm the deletion.
Step 2: Launch iTunes on your computer, and then go to iTunes preferences. Click “Devices” to go to the Devices window. Tick “Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically” and then click OK to save the setup.
Step 3: Then go to Apps window of iTunes, and delete all the apps you want to remove from the iTunes.
Step 4: Go to iTunes store and sign up with your Apple ID. Click “Purchased” and then click on “Apps” then you will see all the purchase history of your apps. Mouse over the app you want to uninstall and then a little cross icon will appear, click it and then click “Hide” in the prompt, to hide the purchase history of the app.
